Has anyone tried the new Ross F1?

Aaron, I only have the same experience as you (I own a Momentum but not an F1) but my take is that the F1 is a lighter, more “high tech” reel compared to the heavier Momentum.

I plan on living forever, so far so good.

    Wow, there’s your answer.

But I’m still curious: what engineering purpose does the graphite sticker in the middle of the arbor serve, Tim?

It’s actually carbon fiber, not a sticker. And it adds stability to the frame.

    Ass.

I’m surprised you didnt turn this into “you need to bring the San Miguel back.”

Can you make me one through the Ross Custom Shop? If not can you warranty one that I bought used on ebay?

Thanks!  That is exactly the kind of detail I was looking for; much appreciated.

Sorry for the little spat between me and Zima.

You need to bring the San Miguel back.

    With a carbon fiber sticker.
