Welcome to The Itinerant Angler. My name is Zach Matthews. I'm a staff writer with American Angler magazine. I also work with magazines like Fly Fisherman, Fish and Fly, and The Drake. Lauren and I count The Globe-Pequot Press, Little River Outfitters and Nautilus Reels among our commercial photography clients. Lately I've stepped onto the lecture circuit with speeches to TU and FFF groups, universities, and clubs.

Lauren Holt Matthews is a professional photographer and Contributing Editor with The Itinerant Angler. Her contributions to the site are often low-profile, but critical. In addition to her photography work, Lauren holds a Masters in English Literature and frequently aids in editing material that appears on this site and in print. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Emory University, in Atlanta, studying 17th and 18th century English Literature.
